To all of our IEEE friends and members,

It has been some time since our last meeting but we have an opportunity for us all to get together and celebrate the season.

We have arranged a holiday concert event on December 16th.

Event Description:

Emmy-Nominated musician, storyteller and harp guitarist, John Doan presents his acclaimed program “Christmas Unplugged – Reclaiming”. the Holiday Spirit.”

Nominated for “Best Entertainment Special of the Year”, “Christmas Unplugged” is a refreshing and magical escape from the frenzy of our times. Experience Christmas past as if it were today with group sing-alongs and whistle-alongs, archival photographs, and the sound of a century old instruments, such as a harp guitar, classical banjo, and various zithers.

John’s physical comedy, interspersed with fine musicianship, makes for a fun filled evening for all ages. Sponsored by IEEE Metropolitan Los Angeles GRSS

The event starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 6:05 PM. Parking is free. The Haaga Hall building is outside of the Huntington Library grounds, and does not require the purchase of an entry ticket to attend.

Although no outside food can be brought into the conference room, people can go to cafeteria by their own before the concert start. The cafeteria is just next to the Conference room. See

We will not be collecting for tickets on-site but everyone is encouraged to use the eventbrite link to get a ticket. Please try and get your ticket before the 14th for our planning purposes. Eventbrite tickets can be bought from the convenient eventbrite app or from their web-page.
